Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
CCA developed the landscape plan for the renovation of a historic school campus, supporting the addition of a new auditorium and classrooms while reinforcing the site’s cultural significance. A tree-lined outdoor amphitheater was designed to host student performances, extending learning and the arts into the landscape.
Working closely with the Architect and the Arts District, CCA also designed a public plaza facing the AT&T Performing Arts Center and enhanced the streetscape along Flora Street. Coordination with the Landmark Commission ensured that all landscape improvements along the historic frontage respected and reinforced the campus’s architectural legacy.
