Our team is a group of experienced designers, landscape architects, and leaders who care deeply about thoughtful, site-responsive design. We work closely with our clients and partners across civic, educational, healthcare, and urban projects to create landscapes that are functional, resilient, and lasting. Each person brings a unique perspective and skill set, allowing us to navigate complex sites with creativity, care, and a strong understanding of place.
Together, we design spaces that connect people, support communities, and endure over time.

Jaclyn Szafranic

PLA, ASLA

Meet Jaclyn, the President and Principal Landscape Architect at CCA. Jaclyn earned her BS from Lambuth University and MLA from Ball State University.  She joined CCA in 2011 after previously working for NJB in Dallas. Jaclyn provides leadership and strategic direction for the firm, overseeing project goals, budgets and schedules to ensure successful outcomes. She also serves as Project Manager on a wide range of projects at CCA, including educational, healthcare, civic, municipal, federal, urban design, and park and recreation.

Jaclyn also serves as key reviewer during quality control of construction documentation prior to submittals. She brings a strong understanding of how exterior spaces can enhance the built environment by expanding social interaction and community engagement.

Outside the office, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She and her family value time together through serving at church, attending school events, and exploring local events such as farmers markets, parks, car shows, and community festivals.

Caye Cook

PLA, ASLA

Meet Caye, the Vice President and Principal Landscape Architect at CCA. Caye's journey began at Mississippi State University, where she earned her BLA and MS degrees before making her mark in Texas. With experience gained from a notable Dallas E/A firm, Caye founded CCA as a sole practitioner in 1992. Today, she spearheads our team, overseeing design and quality control with unwavering dedication.

Passionate about native and adaptive plants for Dallas' unique environment, Caye conducts experiments in her own garden to identify resilient species. She thrives on the challenge of discovering plants that can withstand neglect while remaining easy to maintain.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Caye finds joy in her church community, strumming her guitar, leisurely walks, and cherishing moments with family and friends amidst the beauty of God's creation.

Lindsey White

Meet Lindsey, a valued member of the CCA team since 1998. With a background in architectural engineering and a BLA from the University of Texas, Arlington, Lindsey brings a wealth of expertise in hardscape detailing, structural design coordination, and sustainable design practices.

Throughout her tenure at CCA, Lindsey has become a leader in sustainable design, iSWM/GSI implementation, and LEED accreditation, having contributed to over forty LEED projects. As the Senior Project Manager for LEED projects, Lindsey also lends her technical expertise to projects requiring intricate hardscape and softscape systems.

A native Texan, Lindsey is passionate about exploring the great outdoors. She finds joy in camping, hiking, and paddling adventures, immersing herself in nature whenever possible. Additionally, Lindsey is actively involved in her church community, enriching her life with meaningful connections and service opportunities.

Greg Webb

PLA, ASLA

Introducing Greg, a talented member of our team who brings a wealth of experience to CCA. Greg earned his BLA from the University of Arkansas and pursued graduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. Following roles with firms in Arkansas and Dallas, he joined CCA in 2009.

In his role as Project Landscape Architect, Greg specializes in a diverse range of projects, including recreation, streetscape, education, and site development initiatives across North Texas. His expertise lies in the technical aspects of landscape and hardscape design, as well as site master planning.

Outside of work, Greg finds joy in spending time outdoors with his family, embracing nature's beauty. He also dedicates his time to volunteering with his church, contributing to his community in meaningful ways.

Corey Nelsen

PLA, ASLA

Meet Corey, an integral member of the CCA team. Corey holds a BLA from Iowa State University and joined CCA in 2016, bringing with him valuable experience from his previous role at NJB landscape architecture firm in Dallas.

As a Project Manager at CCA, Corey plays a vital role in overseeing a diverse range of projects, including streetscapes, healthcare facilities, institutional buildings, industrial sites, municipal developments, schools, and parks and recreation areas. His exceptional graphic and computer skills enable effective communication of project vision to clients and users alike.

Beyond the office, Corey finds solace and adventure in the great outdoors. He enjoys hiking with his family and has a passion for fishing, embracing the beauty of nature wherever his travels take him.

Swati Appadu

ASLA

Meet Swati, our Urban Design and Business Development professional at CCA since 2024. With a BLA from Louisiana State University and a MAUD from the University of Sheffield, UK, Swati brings global work experience from AECOM in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Atlanta, GA. Prior to CCA, she worked at Halff Associates in Dallas.

Swati plays a key role in marketing/business development, responding to requests for proposals for CCA. She brings a diverse perspective to our team, her portfolio encompasses a range of design projects, including technical experience in streetscape design, trails, parks, healthcare facilities and website design.

Outside of work, Swati is an avid photographer and she treasures spending time with her family, often found enjoying the ambiance of a local coffee shop with her husband and two daughters.

Anthony Wynn

Meet Anthony, a young and talented member of the CCA Team who joined the firm in 2023 after earning his BLA from Oklahoma State University. With a background in construction, he is a quick learner and provides essential technical and design skills for CCA.

Since joining CCA, Anthony has contributed to a diverse range of projects including schools, park and recreation facilities, industrial sites, healthcare facilities, and ecological restoration efforts. He provides essential design work, construction document production, and graphic development for the firm.

Outside the office, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family and gaming with friends. He also has a passion for travel and exploring zoos, aquariums, and public parks across the United States—experiences that continue to inform and inspire his interest in the built and natural environment.

Kathy Remalia

Kathy has been a valued member of CCA since 2004 and plays a critical role in the firm as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper.  She oversees many of the behind-the-scenes operations such as billings, certificates, taxes, and other essential business functions. Kathy’s organization, reliability, and attention to detail ensure the firm operates efficiently every day. Every good office needs a Kathy! 

Outside of work, Kathy stays busy with her family as a devoted mom to two children and “Meme” to five grandchildren, who keep her active, young, and smiling. She and her family especially enjoy spending time outdoors at the lake, where swimming, skiing, and hiking are favorite pastimes.
