CCA collaborated with the civil engineer to coordinate site drainage while creating new outdoor gathering spaces for students. The landscape design centers on an open lawn for flexible use and a shaded grove that supports informal socializing and study. Permeable walking surfaces, including decomposed granite, were incorporated in low-traffic areas to enhance drainage and reduce site impact.
