CCA reimagined 4,500 linear feet of streetscape to revitalize Deep Ellum’s historic and eclectic character. The design introduces narrower lanes and landscaped bulb-outs to calm traffic and create inviting spaces for outdoor dining with decorative, permeable pavers. Lush rain gardens with native and edible plantings, complemented by ornamental trees, provide shade, habitat, and a 25% increase in pervious surfaces—enhancing both sustainability and the pedestrian experience.
