Celina - Downtown Street Improvements

CCA designed walkways, crosswalks, and plantings for the renovation of 1.2 miles of a rapidly growing suburban corridor. The project carefully balanced existing building footprints with future development setbacks, while enhancing pedestrian access, streetscape aesthetics, and connectivity. Major intersections were highlighted with Texas star motifs set within custom paver fields, complemented by site furnishings, street trees, and planting beds.

Because the original 100-year-old clay pavers could not be replicated, custom concrete paver blends were developed to complement the historic material palette and achieve cost savings. On-site mock-ups supported City review and consensus, and 3D imagery helped adjacent property owners understand the scope and impact of the improvements. CCA also coordinated with City and community representatives and prepared hardscape plans that meet current TAS/ADA guidelines.
