Fort Worth City Hall

This park-like site has long hosted public events with views to the Trinity River and access from nearby downtown neighborhoods. The design reinforces its role as a civic gathering place while introducing accessible routes and terraced spaces that support social interaction, recreation, and community events.

Green stormwater infrastructure is integrated throughout the landscape to manage runoff and protect river water quality. Permeable paving, bioretention planters, and grassy swales are incorporated along pedestrian paths, making sustainable systems visible and functional. Native planting and preserved Live Oaks provide shade, habitat, and seasonal interest, while adaptive turf supports high-use event areas with reduced water demand. The result is a resilient landscape that balances environmental performance with flexible public use.
