CCA prepared landscape and irrigation plans for the City of Dallas’s premier convention center hotel, the Omni Dallas Hotel. CCA collaborated closely with the developer and design team to address site and planting strategies that contributed to the project achieving LEED Gold New Construction certification, making it the largest LEED Gold hotel in the United States outside of Las Vegas at the time of completion in 2012.

CCA designed a rain garden to capture and manage a portion of the site’s stormwater runoff. Working with the interior design team, CCA selected architectural planter types coordinated with the building design and site furnishings, specifying plantings for entry areas, dining terraces, and the pool and spa. CCA also prepared landscape quantities and assisted with cost estimating. Design and construction efficiencies contributed to more than $30 million in project savings, with the $346 million project completing two months ahead of schedule.
