Riverside Oxbow Valley Storage,
Sites A, C and L

CCA prepared landscape plans for 210 acres of excavation, emphasizing vegetative establishment and preservation of significant specimen pecan trees. Planting design included native grass and wildflower seeding and restoration of approximately ½ mile of Sycamore Creek using starter trees and riparian forbs, perennials, and grasses. Hardscape design detailed aesthetic treatments for concrete bridge abutments to simulate limestone, along with weathered steel railings for trail bridges. CCA also provided a detailed cost estimate in accordance with USACE guidelines.

CCA continued landscape design services for an additional 60 acres within Gateway Park to be excavated for increased valley storage capacity. Plans included tree protection measures, native seeding, and sodding along riverbanks. Specifications were coordinated with the City of Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department to address tree preservation, mitigation, and warranty requirements.
