UNT IDIQ Landscape Services – Denton Campus

CCA provided landscape architecture services across multiple UNT campus projects, delivering planting and hardscape design, cost estimates, and design development with a focus on accessibility, pedestrian connectivity, and campus activation.

At the I-35E pedestrian bridge, CCA coordinated with TxDOT to integrate new bridge access walks and redesigned the Fouts’ Field parking area with enhanced paving, site furnishings, and removable safety bollards.
For the Language Arts Building, CCA resolved flooding and accessibility issues by redesigning a non-ADA compliant plaza with new drainage infrastructure, seating, shade trees, and improved entry routes while preserving existing trees.
The Highland Street Transit Mall project transformed a vehicular corridor into a pedestrian- and transit oriented street, incorporating shaded walkways, cycle paths, and shuttle access.
At the Welch Street Complex, CCA addressed site access with ADA-compliant ramps, additional street parking, and drainage improvements.
For the Dallas campus, CCA led a feasibility study for a 200-person amphitheater, evaluating multiple sites and developing conceptual grading and access plans to support future campus engagement near the DART station.
