UT Southwestern Medical Center Seldin Plaza
As Prime Consultant, CCA reimagined the main entry plaza serving the campus’s administrative and teaching areas, transforming an underutilized, ADA-inaccessible paved space into a welcoming and fully accessible arrival experience. A gently arched central walkway organizes the plaza and improves circulation, while curved, ADA-compliant paths enhance connectivity throughout the space.
Seat walls, shade trees, perennial planting beds, and turf areas soften the hardscape and create comfortable places for gathering, reflection, and informal use. The redesigned plaza also provides curated settings for public art, strengthening the campus identity while balancing accessibility, function, and visual character.
